However, he did not give up, he was relentless in his quest to make something of himself & eventually found a recipe for success that worked. Today Disney rakes in billions from merchandise, movies and theme parks around the world

Oprah Winfrey: Opera’s journey to success was a hard one; she endured a rough and often abusive childhood as well as numerous career setbacks including being fired from her job as a television reporter because she was “unfit for TV.” Oprah is now one of the most successful women in the world & one of the richest; she did not stop in the pursuit of her quest for success, when she was told “No, there’s the door” she continued on and made her dreams come to life

Marilyn Monroe: Marilyn was a famous Hollywood actress & pin up who overcame a difficult upbringing and became one of the world’s major sex symbols even after being told by modelling agents that she should instead consider being a secretary!. Marilyn certainly left her mark in this world; she is still remembered today even though she died over 50 years ago!

Fred Astaire: In his first screen test at MGM it was noted that Astaire, “Can’t act. Can’t sing. Slightly bald. Can dance a little.” Yet, Astaire went on to become an incredibly successful actor, singer and dancer; He kept that note in his Beverly Hills home to remind him of where he came from and what he was working towards.
